This workshop will teach you the basics of brush pen calligraphy. We will talk about the difference between calligraphy, lettering and typography. Through a series of exercises and demonstrations you will learn the basic strokes and anatomy of letters. You will learn how to write a basic alphabet with a brush pen and we will also talk about different tools and materials you can use.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone who has taken a pointed pen calligraphy workshop.

This workshop will take place in the studio of calligrapher and lettering artist Kate Hursthouse. It is a small, intimate workshop which allows for more one-on-one time with the tutor.

Maximum: 4 people
